Version 5.1 Feature Update
The current release is Pixel!FX
2000. However, we are making this archived
list of features available for the convenience of
customers using older versions of Pixel!FX.
The current version contains all the features below
as well as newer enhancements added prior to the latest
release.

- Preemptive prescan with incremental preview of
scan allows users to stop a prescan before it
completes.
- Automatic partial prescan enables user to select
scan bed viewing area and constrain prescan to
that area.
- New edit scan gang list dialog simplifies adding,
deleting, and editing selections from a scan gang
list before you scan the images.
- Additional calibration support for Kodak Q-60TM
Color Input Target. This target is manufactured
in accordance with ANSI IT8.7/2.
- New color adjustments on a per-channel basis allow
for fine tuning color scans.

- Rich text format (RTF) support retains font sizing,
font attributes and embedded images for export
to a word processor.
- Barcode recognition.
- Handprinted text recognition.
- Multiple engines maximize recognition effectiveness
based on image quality.
- Tab-delimited text output for export to spreadsheets,
databases or mail-merge applications.
