Subject: Poor OCR recognition

Problem:

OCR performance is extremely poor.

Solution:

1. Scan the image using a resolution setting of 200-300 dpi when the intentions are to perform OCR on a document.

   OR

2. Open the image and click on the 'Image' menu.
   
   
3. Select 'Image Size'.
   
   
4. Change the X and Y resolutions to 200-300 dpi.
   
   
5. Click 'OK' to save the changes, then perform OCR.
