Subject: Scanner installation fails

Problem:

Scanner installation failed.

Solution:

Before running the installation again, perform the following steps:

1. Become super-user.

2. cd $PIXELFXDIR/bin/AIX4 (or AIX3)

3. rmDriver hpsj0

4. chmod 775 /dev

5. rm /etc/methods/sjboot

6. Reboot the system.

7. Run Setup again.
