Subject: FrameMaker import image is a gray box

Problem:

When importing a scanned image from Pixel!FX, the image appears as a gray box.

Solution:

1. Edit the file $FMHOME/fmint/xresources/Maker.
   
   
2. Change the following lines under MEMORY ALLOCATION FOR IMAGES AND FONTS:

   Maker.clientBitmapSize: 4000000
   Maker.serverBitmapSize: 2000000
