Subject: Pixel!FX startup results in 'Bus Error'

Problem:

Upon startup of Pixel!FX a message appears: 'bus error - segmentation violation'. Then Pixel!FX quits.

Solution:

1. Install the scanner first using the Setup routine, then run Pixel!FX.

   OR

2. Update to the most recent release of Pixel!FX 3.x or later.
