Subject: Scanner reset/attach error

Problem:
User is getting the message "Cannot reset or attach scanner."
Solution:

Verify the cables are connected properly.

Verify the SCSI chain is terminated properly.

Verify the scanner is connected to the first SCSI bus (see
platform-specific notes for attaching to secondary SCSI buses).

Verify the scanner is set to the correct SCSI address.

Cycle power on the scanner and reboot the system.
