Flores Becomes Mentalix's Texas Regional Sales Manager
Mentalix is pleased to announce the addition of Juan Flores
as the company's Texas Regional Sales Manager. Flores will serve
as the company representative for all of Mentalix's law enforcement
customers in the state of Texas. His familiarity with fingerprint
technology, Texas government agencies and law enforcement processes
make him uniquely qualified to serve customers using fingerprint
systems to send electronic records to the Texas Department of Public
Safety (DPS).
Prior to taking this position at Mentalix, Flores was the LiveScan
Coordinator for the Texas DPS, where he gained extensive knowledge
of the state's fingerprint system and served as a liaison between
DPS and the many law enforcement agencies in Texas that utilize
electronic arrest reporting. He worked directly with arresting,
prosecuting and court agencies to resolve issues or questions and
to train personnel in the proper use and upkeep of their LiveScan
hardware and software. In addition, he supervised the DPS LiveScan
Field Representatives and was a featured speaker at various law
enforcement meetings and conferences.
Flores also served for 20 years in the United States Navy. As the
Assistant Officer in Charge of Personnel Support Detachment in Great
Lakes, Illinois, he implemented an Electronic Transfer of Funds
service which streamlined the payroll process and saved over thousands
of dollars per year in administrative and outsourcing costs. During
his military tenure, Flores was directly responsible for the Morale,
Welfare and Supervision of more than five thousand diverse military
and civilian administrative staff, located in a five-state area.
Throughout his career in the United States Navy, Flores was stationed
in various finance and payroll departments in California, Texas,
Illinois, Hawaii, Mississippi, and Yokosuka, Japan. He served onboard
The USS Kinkaid (DD-965), USS Midway (CV-41), USS Arthur W. Radford
(DD-980), and the USS Cushing (DD-985), where he earned several
medals, ribbons, military certifications and promotions.
Mentalix is delighted to welcome Flores as our Texas Regional Sales
Manager. He brings a wide range of experience and an established
reputation for working with Texas law enforcement to his new position
at the company, and we believe that our Fed
