Mentalix is pleased to provide our Fed Submit Card Processing software and related maintenance services to Texas government agencies via DIR contract DIR-SDD-1602. Our FBI-certified Fed Submit Card Processing software products enable you to scan and convert fingerprint or palm print cards to electronic ANSI/NIST format. The software is designed for use by agencies that handle large volumes of cards, such as law enforcement agencies or medical examiners' offices.

Warranty & Returns:
Mentalix software is covered by a 90-day limited warranty. (For details, see the Fed Submit End User License Agreement.) Purchasing maintenance effectively extends the warranty to a one-year period.

- FBI-certified scan support for general-purpose desktop scanner models such as the Epson Perfection 4990 or Epson Perfection V700 (PHOTO or PRO)
- Interface can be customized for specific card templates & features that match your company’s workflow
- Scalable system can be used to support tens or hundreds of scan stations sharing the same database
- Verification functions allow you to separate scanning & quality assurance tasks
- Additional documents & photos associated with each card can be scanned & included with EFT file
- Specialized configuration options include customized data entry, serial number entry & bar code support
- Use administrative reports to see processing & error rates for each scan station
- 500 ppi FBI certification
- Works on desktop or notebook with Windows XP Pro & Office 2007

Annual Maintenance Services for Fed Submit Card Processing LS or MS software
- Annual Maintenance includes one year of phone/e-mail/remote support (weekdays 8am-5pm Central Time Zone, excluding holidays) for Fed Submit software, plus Fed Submit maintenance releases for the duration of the agreement. Mentalix can perform remote technical support – under the customer’s initiation and control – for problem resolution and/or periodic maintenance procedures. Requires that customer has PC Anywhere V12.5 Host. Maintenance releases (designated by the minor identifier to the right of the version number decimal point) consist of problem corrections and updates.
- Mentalix’s Fed Submit also includes a "heartbeat" feature (if the system is connected to an e-mail server) that transmits operational data such as error messages to the Mentalix technical support team, allowing us to take a proactive role in resolving issues as they arise.
- Maintenance contracts cover one year and are renewable annually.
